What kind of photos work best?
Clear, well-lit photos of faces — older or recent both work. Aim for at least 1,000 pixels on the long edge. The arrangement algorithm automatically sizes faces to be easily recognised at the table; if a photo is too low resolution, we’ll flag it before you check out.
How important are the captions?
Captions are the heart of this product. Caregivers use them to start conversations — “Margaret, my sister” or “Tom and me, summer 1962.” A name plus a relationship or year tends to land best.
Can I order in bulk for a care home?
Yes — care organisations get a dedicated dashboard for managing residents’ placemats, with bulk pricing and central billing. Set up a care home account to get started.
What if I only have one or two photos?
That’s perfectly fine. The layout adapts to any number of photos from one to eight. A single large portrait with a name and date often makes a stronger placemat than a crowded grid.
How long does delivery take?
Standard UK delivery is 3–5 working days. Express (1–2 days) is available at checkout. We pack each placemat flat between rigid board to keep corners crisp.
